Salve a tutti, siamo Luca Fabrizio e Marcello De Carolis e oggi ti presentiamo il blog del nostro duo musicale Cordaminazioni.
Come primo argomento abbiamo deciso di parlare un po’ di noi, spiegare perché abbiamo scelto questo nome e cosa facciamo.
Da dove nasce il termine “Cordaminazioni“
Innanzitutto il termine “Cordaminazioni” ha un duplice significato per noi:
il primo indica una contaminazione di corde, ne abbiamo ben 56 ai nostri concerti, di differenti culture che unite formano appunto una contaminazione di corde, corde di contaminazioni e quindi Cordaminazioni;
Il secondo significato ha origine dal latino cor, cordis che significa cuore, animo, intelligenza, senno. Ovviamente uno strumento, di qualsiasi genere, è un mezzo per potersi esprimere, quindi senza una persona che lo possa utilizzare resta solo uno strumento con un potenziale ma che non produce nulla. Noi abbiamo deciso di suonare i nostri strumenti musicali con il cuore, le corde vibrano con il nostro animo, il nostro repertorio è scelto con intelligenza e senno, quindi una contaminazione di cor, una cor di contaminazioni, CORDAMINAZIONI.
Chi siamo?
Siamo due chitarristi, da sempre appassionati di strumenti musicali a corda e abbiamo deciso di offrire in un unico recital la possibilità di far ascoltare la chitarra classica, la chitarra battente, il mandolino, la mandola, il cuatro, il charango e il cavaquinho, facendoli dialogare tra di loro con le musiche della loro tradizione. Così sarà possibile ascoltare la chitarra battente che dialoga con il mandolino e allo stesso tempo dialogare con il charango e così via.
Inoltre, da quest’anno, 2018, abbiamo l’onore di poter eseguire la composizione “ALBERO SOLITARIO” per chitarra battente e chitarra classica, scritta per noi dal maestro Angelo Gilardino, ricordo della grande pittrice lucana “Maria Padula“. Questo brano rappresenta un punto di svolta per la chitarra battente: per la prima un compositore colto si interessa a questo strumento popolare facendola dialogare alla pari in un brano di musica colta.
Cenni storici
Tutto questo avvalora la nostra idea secondo cui gli strumenti a corda, tutti accomunati dalla stessa origine, si sono adattati nel corso dei secoli a diverse connotazioni storiche e geografiche; forme, materiali costruttivi, accordature, sono intimamente legati ai popoli, prassi esecutive e risorse naturali proprie dei vari paesi che ne hanno adottato l’idea costruttiva di fondo adattandola a tali esigenze.
Il nostro progetto
Chitarra classica, chitarra battente, mandolino, mandola, cuatro, charango e cavaquinho, gli strumenti musicali proposti nei nostri concerti, sono immagine sonora di storie, popoli e culture diversi, ed evocano mondi che seppur lontani sono accomunati dalla consapevolezza della potenza evocativa della musica; musica di strada o dei salotti, dei monti o dei mari, dei bianchi o dei neri, dicotomie lontane unite da un filo sottile, anzi, fili sottili…le corde.
